Our Services

Headway ABI Australia Ltd (Headway ABI) provides a diverse range of services and programs to support and assist people with a brain injury or disability to live well in their homes and in the community.

Our services are flexible and responsive to each individual's needs, plan and circumstances.

One-on-One Support

Headway ABI offers contemporary and self–directed

one–on–one support to individuals in their home, community, hospital or long stay facilities.

We begin by developing a plan to identify your goals, needs and aspirations to drive these services.

Your plan could include accessing and participating in everyday activities in the community including:

  • household chores

  • hygiene

  • diet

  • shopping

  • banking

  • appointments

  • transport and travel training

  • cooking

  • participating in social activities

Transitional Accommodation

Headway ABI provides 24/7 high-care 'Transitional Support' at our purpose built accommodation, Millar House.

People who leave hospital and need long-term rehabilitation and support to integrate back into their families or community can stay at Millar House for a period of up to 2 years.
